Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) THE Dendera music tree continues to spread its branches following the entry of talented artiste Succeed Zvavanjanja into the mainstream music fold.
Zvavanjanja – who is heavily inspired by the late Dendera music icon, Simon Chimbetu – is on the brink of ‘re-arranging the chairs’ of Dendera music.
With five albums to his name, Zvavanjanja says he is not just bubble that will burst.
“I was inspired b the late Simon Chimbetu and Tongai Moyo and this is not a secret as you can feel their influence in my music,” he said.
Flashback to Zvavanjanja’s music career.
His previous albums are “Nzira Yeupenyu” (2011), which was his debut, “Zvaitwa Mhofu” (2012), “Shekaina” (2013), and “Zviri Matiri” (2014).
“Shekaina” was a gospel album.
“My role as a musician is to preach the gospel of the Lord, though I also tackle social issues,” he said.
Recently, Zvavanjanja performed at one of the hottest joints in Harare, Club Joy Centre PaFio in Highfield where he thrilled music lovers.
