Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19.
Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for Covid-19, Portugal’s Football Federation said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old Juventus striker missed Wednesday’s Uefa Nations League game against Sweden as he was in isolation but he has no symptoms.
The federation added that the rest of the Portugal squad had undergone tests as a result of Ronaldo’s positive test and the rest of the squad managed to play against Sweden.
Portugal managed to win 3-0 against Sweden, despite Ronaldo’s absence from the match.
Ronaldo’s only contribution to the game was a post on Instagram around kickoff time urging on his teammates as he remained in quarantine, and they proved more than equal to the task.
