Meet our very talented Sibonokuhle Dlodlo
Of Nkulumane 1, Bulawayo. She designs and makes these beautiful traditional ladies handbags, shoes, purses, key holders, necklaces and bangles. Men are not left out too, she makes bangles, necklaces and bags.

Sibonokuhle has been in her business for more than 30 years and through it has managed to support and bring up her children. Hers is a natural talent, she never trained how to make these products. She started doing this at the age of 20 and has never stopped. She hails from Hauke at Nkosikazi near Siganda where the famous King Lobengula’s wife, Lozikeyi is buried, in the Bubi District of Bulawayo. She started designing bags as a young girl fascinated watching her elders making beads, bangles and necklaces from natural resources suchbas seeds obtainwd from local trees. As natural vegetation dwindled in her area due to the encroachment of gold panning, she is now ordering materials for her products from South Africa, which sadly makes them a bit expensive for some potential buyers.

Sibonokuhle followed her heart and hobbies and managed to swim just above poverty waters of our unpredictable economy.
She is interested in finding overseas markets for her products. Although most of her customers are South African and overseas based diasporans, she is in need of financial backbone to grow her business and pay her small team of helpers.
