Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – Controversial Prophet Brighton Chikomo of Bright Lights Prophet ministries has urged gold-panners in Mashonaland West to come to his crusade in Chinhoyi and get enrichment anointing to increase their mining opportunities.
Speaking on ZBC’s National FM recently, Prophet Chikomo encouraged the panners to come in their numbers so that their luck in getting the precious gem are enhanced.
“Right now I am asking those that are into gold mining not to miss this coming opportunity as I will anoint soil that will make sure you will be able to increase your proceeds from gold mining.
“We will anoint soil which you will use in your work,” said Chikomo.
His sentiments come in the wake of a gold rush in the province which has ignited bloody clashes between the gold panners and sometimes with the police.
The Norton-based prophet went on to defend the selling of anointed oil, bracelets and the bookings of One-on-One sessions where people have to fork out money saying it was biblical .
“I have been asked questions by people about why we sell anointed oil, bracelets and that when you want a closer engagement with the prophet you need to pay some dues.
“There are scriptures to support that and there is nothing amiss about that,” defended the Bright Light Prophetic ministries leader.
The prophet who has of late been making headlines owing to some of his anointing antics that range from using honey, oranges, soil and a whole lot of other controversial stunts will be in Karoi at Chikangwe Council Hall on Friday with a service running under a theme ‘Breaking New Ground’.
On Saturday he will be in Chinhoyi at Gadzema Ground for a service dubbed as ‘Turn Around Night’.
