London. ENGLAND. (News of The South) – Hundreds of Black Lives Matter protesters marched in central London on Sunday July 12 in the wake of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis USA.
They started at Marble Arch at 2pm and after some speeches they made their way to the Parliament Square.

The crowd waved banners while calling for an end to police brutality at the same time making efforts to maintain social distancing. The protesters stood two meters apart as they held a minute of silence while raising one arm in the air to show solidarity.
Most of the protesters wore face masks and stood apart from each other while making their way through the city. One of the protesters held a sign which read, “Black lives matter more than white comfort.”
Another had a sign which read, “dehumanization is a pandemic.”
