Big Names On Zimbabwean Music To Perform In South Africa

0 0JOHANNESBURG. (News of The South) – Zimbabwe`s multi award winner, Jah Prayzah will this coming weekend stage a show in Johannesburg where some of his fellow countrymen in Diaspora would get what they missed the whole year.
Prayzah, real name Mukudzei Mukombe (28) will perform on Saturday November 28, 2015 at Ekurhuleni Boksburg hotel which is owned by a Zimbabwean businessman Roger Muzawazi. The ‘Gochi Gochi’ hit maker will play alongside fellow compatriots Nox and Crystal.
The show is being promoted by Silent Killer and Roger Muzawazi. Speaking to News
of the South, Muzawazi said, “there has been some calls from our fans to bring Jah Prayzah and we decided to do exactly that. It would be the first time he perform in South Africa in a big place which accommodates over 2000 spectators. We expect the show to be explosive
with Zimbabweans and South Africans in attendance as usual.”
Attendants are required to pay R150 in advance at R200 at the entrance. Muzawazi stated that they always have a full house when Zimbabweans come to pefrom in his hotel and expects more people because of the profile of Prayzah.He added, “Jah Prayzah is loved by many people from different generations. Zimbabweans will have an early Christmas before going home. We have a tight security and renovated our stage and even if it is raining our guests are protected.”
On December 5, 2015 the Sungura maestro Alick Macheso will also perform at the same venue with Winky D.
Muzawazi has brought many Zimbabweans like Oliver Mutukudzi, Alick Macheso, Tryson Chimbetu and the Marxist Kings among other big names in music. He stated that Zimbabweans in South Africa miss their artists on stage and live shows brings unity and the Zimbabwean spirit together as he has seen with previous shows.
