Speaking yesterday (Monday) at the Behind the scenes Media Symposium, Lead President Linda Masarira said as Zimbabweans we have a third that is operating in Zimbabwe’s civic space, journalists and political parties and that it has divided and destroyed all political parties in Zimbabwe.
She went on to say that now for the agenda to work out everything in Zimbabwe has to fail.
“Following the November 17 operation restore order that ushered in the second republic, there has been a general relaxation in the freedom of expression.
“Zimbabwe is a constitution of democracy and we have all been fighting for constitutions to be a reality in Zimbabwe but some of us are involved in unconstitutional activities to dethrone the sitting government,” she said.
Masarira went on to talk about fake asylum seekers who want Zimbabwe to become a failed state so as to justify their asylum status for example the fake attack on Dzamara who burnt his own things and scooped several thousands of dollars as donations for having survived an attack by the state.
She spoke of fake abductions that are being done to barter the image the country’s image and ensuring that no investors come to invest in Zimbabwe and sanctions are tightened in Zimbabwe leading to the citizens revolting against their government.
Masarira said that every citizen should be responsible and patriotic enough to fight for our country.
“Development is all we need for Zimbabwe to move forward as we are focusing more on politics but at the end of the day we do not eat politics.
“If we managed to march in 2017 to remove the late Mugabe why can’t we march again to have a transformative developmental agenda for Zimbabwe?” she said.
“Political parties in Zimbabwe are not growing strong because of donor funding and it is a tragedy for Zimbabwe.
“We have to redefine who we are for us to grow because if we keep relying on the West to free ourselves we are going to be stuck forever,” she added.
Abigale Mupambi pointed out that Cecilia Chimbiri was part and parcel of the hijacking the electoral process.
“The same Cecilia you think you are going to defend in the street because she stands for this and that, she was part of that rehearsal for the hijack of the electoral process of the nation’s harmonized elections of July 31 2018.
“This was a ‘popovic’ strategy backed by the Americans funders to disrupt the electoral process.
“I was there when there was an attack on activists,” she said.
“It was a torture for me to see people dying because of the votes that were crafted there in Zambia,” Abigale added.
Reverend Anglistone T. Sibanda said that MDC Alliance councillors in Bulawayo and Harare are corrupt and they are looting stand and among those that are corrupt is Tendai Biti.
He went on say that if it is marching for ZANUPF must go then he will not go but if it is about all the corrupt people then he will march.
“If ZANU PF must go then who must come, because you cannot tell me that you remove ZANU PF and replace it with Tendai Biti and Ibbo Mandaza who are also on the list of those that are corrupt.
“It does not work, it will not work and it will never work,” he said.
Rev Sibanda said that we should be able to redefine our democracy and not be used and also said that Chamisa is on leave and there is no one to lead the demo.
