The relentless pressure on Zimsec over the threat of corona virus through gatherings in the registration process and travel of 9159 school heads to Zimsec centres has yielded positive results.

Zimsec has stopped congregation of candidates at schools and travelling of school heads to Zimsec offices to conduct business. An online facility will be availed to centres for essential services like submission of entries and payments. Once more we have demonstrated our vision and power as a union of choice. We will always advance the interests of our members and defend any gains made. We reiterate our long held view that we can never accept gambling with the health and safety of teachers in the 21st century. The only way forward forProgressive Teachers Association Of Zimbabwe (Ptuz) is going forward in defending the interests of teachers and a veritable quality public education in Zimbabwe.
