Borussia Dortmund, Celtic, Atletico Madrid, Napoli, Chelsea and Zenit St Petersburg registered victories in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League third fixtures, while Barcelona, and Basel only managed draws away from home.

Dortmund’s Lewandowski put his team ahead in the 82 minute with superb effort as the Germans halted Arsenal’s campaign with a 2-1 victory in London. Napoli’s 2-1 wins. At Olympique Marseille, put three teams on six points in Group F.

In Group G, Atletico Madrid made it three out of three with an emphatic 3-0 win over Austria Vienna leaving them a point from the 10 that are needed to book a place in the last 16 of Europe’s prestigious club tourney. Lionel Messi returned in fashion after being sidelined for a thigh problem with a goal in the 23 minutes to help Barcelona earn a point in a 1-1 draw against AC Milan. Barcelona occupies first position in the group with seven points, while Milan has four points. Celtic are on three points with Ajax at the basement on one.
