The 29-year-old Togolese international scored his fourth goal in five appearances for Spurs since his return to the team after being sidelined by former manager Andre-Villas-Boas, in a 2-1 win over Manchester United on New Year’s day Barclays Premier League fixture played at Old Trafford.

“At the moment he has ice on his every part of body so we can’t tell what’s wrong with him,” Sherwood told BT Sport.
“He just runs all day long, he tries hard for the team, but it’s hard to single anyone out.
Christian Eriksen’s goal made Tottenham to leapfrog Manchester United on the log standing, after Adebayor first goal, while Danny Welback struck the consolation for the host.
