Prioritizing and expecting the revival and success of the economy ahead of the people’s welfare and survival, is the worst ever blunder the economists have taught this world. When you want the fish you can look for the river but you don’t have to look for the fish when you want the river. Between the two there is the one that keeps the other. You can get fish in the water but can’t get water in the fish. You can make and build an economy out of the people but you can’t make the people out of the economy.
The demolition of the poor unemployed citizen’s shelters and their makeshift vendor stalls shall never in anyway help resolve the economical ills facing the country but only help adding salt into injury. The poorer you make the citizens the deeper falls your economy. There is no better economy with the poor citizen’s. Enrich the citizens to revive the economy and not the opposite.
