Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)What does a man say on his 93^rd birthday when he has seen it all whilst being accused of knowing  nothing; when he is a walking irony, fitted with all adjectives, the positive and the negative and is near God than Man?

Some fete him as the last standing African revolutionary leading Zimbabwe and Africa on the only true road to emancipation as it should be for the formerly colonized black man, economic empowerment.

Others have accused him of being a dictator who has destroyed a whole country from the pinnacle of being Africa’s shining beacon into the swamp of poverty, corruption and a polarized politico-social environment.

At a time his party is riddled with factions competing to succeed him; a wife who has divided opinions and an opposition that is growing wilier and stronger with each passing days, what does a man say when he turns 93?

Any new trick from an old hand or some sly wit from an aged conjurer?
