Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)-Embattled Higher Education Minister Jonathan Moyo has launched another snide attack upon his opponents using social network whilst reporting progress in his suing of VP Mnangagwa in supposed defiance of President Mugabe who reportedly called for a ceasefire.

Last week Moyo threatened to sue, among others, VP Mnangagwa, Information Perm Sec George Charamba and Zimpapers.

However during a recent Politburo meeting this week Mugabe is reported to have advised the minister, who is facing corruption charges, from such a move urging him to use party channels to air his grievances.

However in a new post Moyo has reported that his lawyers are moving ahead with the litigation.

“I’m happy to say my lawyers have just advised that the mega law suit on capture of state institutions & defamation is about to be filed!’

Moyo again launched another barb at his opponents also against Mugabe’s supposed advise this week.

The nameless remarks are believed to be aimed at Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa who Moyo accuses of hijacking state institutions such as the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission as weapons in the fight against his person.

“Constitution’s s61 (5) (c) says: Freedom of expression and freedom of the media exclude malicious injury to a person’s reputation or dignity”.

The Professor poured scorn on Mnangagwa’s supposed reputation for ruthlessness insinuating that such hallmarks are useless during elections.

“Today’s thought: A reputation for ruthlessness, cruelty, grand larceny & murder is neither a term of endearment nor an election manifesto!’ he said on his Twitter account.

The statement sounds as a direct negative mark on the VP’s ability to contest for presidency in succession of Mugabe, itself the root of the factional problems in the party.

Moyo revealed his cynical view that private media reports of Politburo on-goings were a result of mere insider revelations charging, sarcastically, that they are actually products of his enemies.

“A politburo insider feeding lies to the media? No. No. Maybe it’s someone inside a dirty river somewhere that’s infested with crocodiles!’ he said.

The Moyo saga has refused to die down as the ZANU PF party continues to suffer the ill-effects of Mugabe’s supposed imminent demise from power by natural or otherwise due to his debilitating health and age.
