Johannesburg, South Africa. (news of the South) – This publication has gathered that Zimbabwe could miss two of their key players, Khama Billiat and Hardlife Zvirekwi, for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Media reports in Zimbabwe reveal that coach Kalisto Pasuwa could rest the Mamelodi Sundowns star for the upcoming clash. The Warriors will also miss the services of defender Zvirekwi who is suspended for the qualifier next month.
Billiat has been instrumental for both his country and the 2015/16 Absa Premiership champions, helping them to reach the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

“I would say the issue of Khama is something that we are seriously looking at. The young man has not had any rest to talk about as you know that Mamelodi Sundowns were reinstated in the CAF Champions League,” said Pasuwa citing Billiat’s active participation in the mini-league while the other teams were resting.
“Now it would be too much to ask of him to make the long trip to Guinea again just as their Premiership season is starting in South Africa. We all need Khama to be fresh and to give us his best whenever he plays, hence that time I had to start him on the bench against Swaziland at home,” Pasuwa added.
Zimbabwe currently enjoys the top spot of Group L with 11 points from five matches and their next match is set to be staged in Conakry on September 03.
