London. (News Of The South) – Offsprings of Zimbabwe`s music legends Oliver Mtukudzi and Zex Manatsa touched down in London for a memorable two day concert in London and Leicester at the Easter weekend next week.
Selmor Mtukudzi her husband Tendai Manatsa and Sandra Mtukudzi are the first group to arrive on Wednesday morning for Southern African Music and Arts Festival (SAMA Festival) due on March 25 in London at Oasis Barking and on March 26 at the Athena Arena in Leicester.
Expected next week are Jah Prayzah, Winky D and Tocky Vibes. The concert is likely to go down in history as one of the best Zimbabwean concert in UK. All the artists on the line up are award winners and have been having record numbers of attendance never seen before in Zimbabwe for local artists. On New Year 2016 Jaha Prayzah and Winky D recently filled up the Sheraton Hotel arena to capacity.

Selmor made headlines for publicly denouncing his father for lack of support in 2014, it is evident now that they made up and she has matured and concentrated in her music becoming an independent musician. Selmor has been in the limelight this year for the right reasons, she has been riding high with her album Expressions, where Nguva Yangu a high tempo and groovy song has been a hit on the radio stations in Zimbabwe and a lot of hits on youtube channel.
Selmor also won the NAMA awards for best female artist and also scooped the Hottest Female Single award for hit song “Nguva Yangu” at the inaugural African Entertainment Awards held in New Jersey, USA, shrugging off stiff competition from several other musicians such as Zahara and Tinashe Kachingwe.
Selmor has other hit songs such as Nzungu , Chiro and many more. Selmor is more of an Afro Jazz musician following the footsteps of her legendary father Oliver Mtukudzi. Like the other children of legendary artists Selmor plays her father’s songs. She has the moves and one can argue that she is an ambassador for her father’s music stable.
