Popularly known as Trevor D, Dongo launched the video entitled Ndoita Seiko in Gwanda, a town in the Matabeleland province of Zimbabwe.

In the video, Dongo worked with child support groups like Citizen Child and Family Support Network to come up with a beauty of a product that is a marvel to watch.

The well crafted video which features talented and upcoming Afro jazz artist Gary Tight was produced by renowned producer Mac D Chidavaenzi.

Dongo said the launch was a huge success but expressed concern over the number of rape cases in the country saying the problem has become a cancer that is slowly eating through the moral fibre of our society and its victims should not suffer in silence.

“The launch went well with the support of citizen child and family support net work.
“However, rape victims should not suffer in silence. They should be allowed to speak out as we advised in the video. If that is religiously followed, we will put an end to rape in the country,” he said.
In the video children who are raped are advised to immediately rush to the nearest police station and get the necessary help.

A member of child support group Citizen Child who spoke on condition of anonymity said the video is a campaign tool against child abuse at school or at home.

“We did the video as a campaigning strategy against child abuse and the song gives advice to victims of rape on what they should do when they fall into this predicament.

Rape cases have been on the rise in the country and it is high time people stand up and fight against this monster that threatens to devour the beautiful future of Zimbabwe’s children.
