Coventry. (News Of The South) – Nox and Freddy Gwala managed to put up impressive performances in Coventry at Club Platinum on Saturday night and made the gig an enjoyable one for the few who attended.

Attendance was not as expected as more than five Zimbabwean shows have had to be cancelled due to Visa problems so Zimbabwean music fans have kin of given up.

South Africa based Nox Guni took to the stage and explained to the crowd about Visa delays and how Zimbabweans should never give up hope.

“It`s not the promoters fault, it`s not your fault, it`s not my fault, all we gotta do is blame it on the situation” said Nox.

Gwala and Nox managed to keep the fans on their feet as they belted out old and new tunes.

Platform One who were also billed to perform at the gig failed to secure their visa on time so did not manage to travel to the UK.

Promoter Phil Wakabikwa who spoke to News Of The South also explained how Guni and Nox s visas were delayed and how they received their Visas a day before the show and that many fans did not know that the artists had arrived as many expected the show to be cancelled.

“Cancellations caused by visa delays and other logistical issues have affected peoples confidence more than ever before.

“It has become harder to convince people that advertised shows will actually take place but we hope this will help restore some of that confidence” Wakabikwa told News Of The South.
Nox will be in the UK until the new year and another gig is being organised in Leicester for all his fans who failed to attend in Coventry.

The Amadhamara star Gwala is expected to fly back to South Africa on Monday.
