Boko Haram an Islamic terrorist group linked to Al Qaeda opened fire at college students in Nigeria college of Agriculture, Molima Idi Mato, in Yobe State claiming more than 40 lives
Students were sleeping in their dormitories when the Islamic terror group dressed in military uniform assaulted the students and directly shot those who tried to escape says an eye witness.
‘They started gathering students and putting them into groups outside and later opened fire on all the grouped students before putting the classrooms on fire. It was so terrible’, said one surviving student who was identified as Idris.
Reports from an intelligence official say that, more than 40 dead bodies were recovered and 18 wounded were transported to Damaturu Specialist Hospital.
Bako Haram is an Islamic terrorist group that is aiming to establish an Islamic State in Northern Nigeria and has for the past time intensifies attacks on civilians as revenge for Nigerian Military offensive against the group recently.
Boko Haram leader Abbubakkar Shekau last week published a video to prove that he is still alive to prove military claims that he is dead and have killed him in their operations against the group.
