Slogans, slogans and slogans outweighs deeds
Empty promises dominate reality
Empty pledges await voters
Corruption is the order of the year
Lavish parties for the chosen few Zero tolerance to press freedom is your weapon of clinging to power.
Jump and don’t ask why? Is your leadership style
The Politician it’s high time you embrace grassroots politics
Don’t forget those poor voters who gave you power
Their vote is mightier than a sword
One day their misery will bring you down
That election manifesto should be fulfilled wholesale.
Hungry bellies make the loudest rumble
Be warned, take heed
Hungry bellies’ loyalty is short lived
Feeding the poor and the vulnerable must be your priority.
The poor rules, taking them for a ride is suicidal.
Have time to listen, think and reflect on your mistakes.
Swallow your pride before they baptize you with a vote of no confidence.
Their vote is the best revenge, their vote is their wealth
Their vote is their power, it does not catch a cold.
Soon they will exercise it, to throw you into the dustbin of history.
Hungry bellies make the most rumble,
They’re unpredictable, they strike like a Tsunami Take heed, be warned and don’t dice with doom, take them as cannon fodder to your own peril.
