Harare, Zimbabwe. (News of The South) – As an annual event since 1960, Delta Beverages the main sponsor of the most prestigious event has unveiled the 2019 Castle Tankard horse race at Borrowdale Park that will take place on 11 May .
The event was attended by several stake holders that included the sponsors ,Delta beverages, the horse trainers ,jockeys Mashonaland Turf Club and many other horse racing lovers. Speaking on the launch, the chairman of the Mashonaland Turf Club Mr Gary Carter said he was happy about the support that they are getting from the Delta Beverages.
‘We are so happy that they are always giving us support and we wish to have a long infinity relationship that we are enjoying with the Delta as this is a big national event that we hold every year since 1960’ said Mr Carter. The 2019 Castle Tankard has been given RTGS100,000 sponsorship by the Delta Company.
Delta Beverages General Manager Dr Munyaradzi Nyandoro pledged to continue supporting the biggest annual event.
Delta beverages are the manufacturers of several brands that include coca-cola ,castle lite, Pilsner, Zambezi, Chibuku super, Bohlingers, Castle Larger and Black Label.
People from all over the country are coming to this exciting event and the very lucky ones will go back to theirs homes with great happiness after enjoying and winning. There will also be a lot of funny as people will also be enjoying their ice cold beers and drinks.
