Zimbabwe – (Bulawayo) – The Byo Youth Provincial Council for oppostistion MDC – T on Saturday met and recommended the suspension of its Provincial Chairperson Bekithemba Nyathi on the following grounds:
1 – Abuse of office – the chairperson acted as a treasurer without both the knowledge and consent of the province
2 – Misappropriation of funds – the chairperson went and withdrew money from the treasurer and converted it to his own personal use
3 – Fraud and Sabotage – the chairperson collected soccer balls meant for organising from youth national and its now 8mths without even notifying the province.
4 – Boycotting both main and youth National Council
5 – Boycotting Presidential rallies
6 – Collaborating with police against the party , after the provincial executive held on the 17th of April the chairperson brought police into MDC – T party offices for reasons better known by him,
7 – Participating in organised violence – the chairperson hired thugs that disrupted MDC- T provincial executive meeting held on April 17 resulting in one of the youths being attacked and injured.
