Real Madrid has confirmed the availability of Cristiano Ronaldo against Rayo Vallecano in Saturday`s fixture, inspite of the attacker having succumbed a minor knee injury.

While the Italian mentor, Ancelotti admits that he would love to rest the Ballon d’Or winner in the event that his problem become serious, but he insists that his talisman will be available for today’s encounter against Rayo.
“Cristiano has been training well normally, don’t think it’s been affecting his game and he will play today. It’s no problem,” he said.
“We thought of resting him, but the problem has been managed well and he is confident. If things don’t improve, we’ll give him a rest. It’s a small problem.”
Ancelotti also highlighted that Diego Lopez will continue being his first choice on goals ahead of Iker Casillas in today’s fixture, despite some calls for the Spain skipper to be returned to the full time number one role.
“It’s something I’ve already spoken about.Things can change, but Diego Lopez has been doing well, like Iker. Diego will play today, Iker on Wednesday,” said the former PSG coach.
