Mozambique`s Frelimo Choose Presidential Candidate

Matola (Mozambique) – Mozambique’s ruling Frelimo chose Defence Minister Filipe Nyussi Saturday as its presidential candidate for elections in October.

“Filipe Nyussi won with 68 percent,” party spokesman Damiao Jose said shortly after midnight Sunday following two rounds of voting.
