Zimbabwe government has been accused of trashing free speech, religious liberty, property rights, and limits on executive power. But surprisingly not even one person can name the single most unconstitutional thing Emerson Mnangagwa has proposed or endorsed so far. It is a wonder that in all these unfounded accusations against Emerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa only a long war on the freedom and the protections for property rights, as exemplified by Mnangagwa’s embrace of boundless eminent domain powers for the government and Mnangagwa’s unprecedented zeal of seeking to remove personal profit when councils and some greedy officials seize homes and businesses, and then hand the bulldozed land over to crony capitalist real estate developers known as Zimbabwean Land Barons.

But when it comes to the opposition unconstitutional agenda, there are plenty of other noxious options to choose from which shows that our constitution has been under heavy threat from those who call themselves defenders of the constitution.

What about Chamisa’s call for a “total and complete shutdown” of Zimbabwe through sanctions? That stance manages to offend multiple constitutional principles in a single bound, including such bedrock concepts as treason due process, and equal protection. We cannot let this moment pass.

We cannot simply ignore it, because it was too harrowing. We cannot put it out of our minds because we want to move on. We cannot dismiss this because we’re “tired of the opposition destroying our future.” We cannot forget. We said that during the liberation struggle, we said that in 1999 the first time our country was attacked by terrorists using unlawful sanctions having been requested by the opposition.

Now the opposition is using the loopholes in our judicial. It challenges every democratic move passed on by the government. Are we supposed to forget this time?
We now have the opportunity to go after the instigators, the leaders, and those who are after an I democratic regime change. They are dangerous, but not to the point where they can’t be tried. Their day in a court of law is coming, and they surely must face the harshest punishment possible. They are clearly trying to leas the violent, bigoted arm of their base. He spoke of harm to those he believes were responsible for stealing his election. Of diminishing our great country. He trained and brainwashed his base of insurrectionists. He has turned the social media to be another front fighting and demonising the only country we can call ours.

The opposition has failed to connect to positive change
Help redefine the future
of business of the country.
The idea of using the legal means to illegally demonise the country is a new weapon now being used by the opposition.

Because of the sanctions put upon Zimbabwe’s population people have died and hundreds of thousands have perished because of this neglect, this selfishness. They only concentrated on the big lie, on brainwashing their base, on overturning the election, of infuriating them to the point of violence. The opposition ignored the suffering of people dying from COVID by forcing demonstrations sending Joanna Mamombe and her gang to demonstrate in the peak of the pandemic this is blood all over Chamisa and his team’s hands for obsessing on the freedom of congregating at the expense of aiding people crying out for help.

The blood that was shed in the shadows of Zimbabwe’s struggle for political and economic emancipation is still fresh. So why aren’t the memories of those who were actually there, who actually supported Chamisa’s lies and illegalities, still fresh? How is it that they quickly forget when and where this happened? This threat to our democracy? They call the constitutional amendment “unconstitutional” Are they that foolish to think that we are so foolish to believe their foolishness? Their dismissiveness? On trying to shell game the date on Zimbabwean public that won’t forget?
We didn’t simply forget about the colonisers and we cannot simply forget about out local terrorists or spare them any repercussions for what they did. The passing of the Amendment in the Senate is not what is unconstitutional. Its what the opposition did, in trying to shoot down the lawful constitutional amendments that is unconstitutional. It was barbaric too.The opposition branded it their own. They took great pride in their branding, sticking Chamisas name on buildings, planes, and casinos. It pugnaciously replaced the peace and tranquility throughout the rotunda. It flew in the High Court Hung in the CONSTITUTIONAL and Supreme courts. The opposition branding of barbarism. They are said to take pride, gleefully claiming credit for causing a constitutional crisis. So who is a threat to the constitution of Zimbabwe.

Any attempt to distract from what the opposition is doing to the constitution by claiming anything other than what happened behind the scenes is morally offensive and legally wrong. The Parliament and Senate are bound by an oath to protect this country, from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Absolutely not, and to the contrary. It would be not un-Zimbabwean to equate them with anyone else because they are supporting someone who did great harm to the Zimbabwe.

Even more urgently, we’re facing an authoritarian threat to our democratic system of a kind we’ve never seen before. It is the dictatorship hidden in the opposition. The people who do not want to lose. If the parliament votes they try to arm twist the courts to cause a confusion which is not there. Right now they are even casting unwarranted doubt on the validity of the constitutional court appointments made constitutionally by the president, as well as putting in question for the first time in our history whether they would peacefully accept the decision of the constitutional court.

The Members of Parliament and Senete took an oath in all chambers. It is an oath to defend and support the Constitution of Zimbabwe against all enemies, foreign, and domestic.
Zimbabwe now sees Chamisa and his team of scheming bandits as domestic enemies of the Constitution, in the sense of that oath. They have assaulted not only the constitution but also virtually every other aspect and institution of our country that preserves us as a nation.

Democracy demands that what the majority says it stands. The majority represented by their members of parliament and senate voted for the second amendment how dare the losers rush to court. The majority rule must teach Chamisa and his advisors humility and the zeal to accept the majority rule.

Our Constitution requires that all who hold office in government take an oath to uphold the Zimbabwe’s Constitution: “The Senators and State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution…”This is the question with which the judicial branch struggles the most. Seeing that the judicial branch’s primary responsibility is to interpret the Constitution, understanding what the legislator’s intent was becomes vitally important.

If one seeks to uphold the Constitution according to its intent, it means to interpret or read the Constitution’s aims according to what the nation envisioned in constructing the Constitution.  The intent becomes critical to assess whether or not modern interpretations of the Constitution is aligned with the intent of the Constitution or goes against it.  Very closely associated with this is whether or not judicial branch individuals, such as Justices of the Supreme Court, should adopt a position of judicial restraint or judicial activism.  The position of restraint  argues that a certain level of control must be exercised when interpreting or analyzing the Constitution’s aims or goals, where as activism sees the Constitution as an instrument of social change and should be read in such a manner.  The issue of intent lies at the heart of how the Constitution is read and understood in the modern setting.

It is the duty of all of us to protect our constitution. We must not play opposition politics with our constitution. The constitution is sacred and must be protected by reason. It is not the one who rushes to court who is always right.

The Younger generations have lost sight of just how important our Constitution truly is.
The observance of Constitution gives us an opportunity to fight the fiction of those trying to rewrite our history.
We must do all we can to protect our Constitution so that it can continue to protect all of us.

Between the lack of patriotism education in our schools and the outright promotion of Western propaganda in our universities, younger generations have lost sight of just how important our Constitution truly is.
Constitution is so critical to our existence as free people.

So we still can save many of our young people from the siren song of western democracy and help them understand that the Constitution ensures the very way of life that they enjoy.
The Constitution is a contract between the people and their government. It reflects that the government only derives its power from the people.

It lays out the framework for the government and limits it to certain powers, so that it never becomes so powerful it threatens the freedoms it was instituted to protect.
It divides power among the three branches of government to ensure that no branch becomes too powerful. It divides power between the arms of government and the people so that power isn’t solely vested in one arm and so most decisions can be made by government arms that are closer and more responsive to the people. It gives us the opportunity to rededicate ourselves to educating future generations how our limited form of government protects their precious freedoms, creates unparalleled prosperity, and provides unprecedented opportunity for all citizens.

We must do all we can to protect our Constitution so that it can continue to protect all of us. We must not give in to propaganda which destroys the constitution pretending to be fighting for it.
