A lady dies after being poked by a rooster.
MUTARE, Zimbabwe. (News of the South)-Chigodora residents were left shocked following the death of a lady who was attacked by a rooster yesterday.

It is believed that a man from Magayakaya or Mvududu Village agreed with his friend who stays at Matondo growth point to exchange their roosters so as to have different breeds.
The man took his friend’s roaster to his home.
The following day his wife got into the fowl run to feed the chickens and that is when she got poked on the side of the leg close to the foot.
When she was coming out of the fowl run she was crying saying that her leg is sore and shortly afterwards it started swelling.
The following day the rooster attacked her again and she was lifted from the fowl run because the leg had now seriously swollen and it turned black like she had been bitten by a snake.
She was immediately taken to Matondo clinic and was administrated an injection and she returned home.
Unfortunately, she died on Friday in the morning.
She was then taken to Mortuary waiting for her relatives to come from Mutoko.
The community is shocked by mysterious death.
The owner the roaster is saying he got the roaster from Mozambique.
The deceased’s family arrived from Mutoko and the body got released from the mortuary.
Her family members are giving the husband hell because he took a rooster from someone else.The deceased left behind three little kids.
