On April 13, at 19:00 (Moscow time), Russian pop group Uma2rman will perform a special online charity concert featuring their biggest hits and songs from their recent albums. The initiative was spearheaded by the Roscongress Foundation.
Uma2rman is the brainchild of two brothers – Vladimir and Sergey Kristovsky. The group was formed in 2004. Their first 15 songs recorded in the native town of Nizhni Novgorod have been sent to all major record labels and it was not long before they have been noticed. They have been introduced to wide audiences when the brothers performed their hit song Praskovya together with Zemfira during her show in 16 Tons club on 19 December 2003.
Prostitsya (Say Goodbye) was a huge hit, with the band named Breakthrough of the Year at the MTV Russia Music Awards. The band’s success was assured with their song Nochnoy Dozor (Night Watch), which was used on the soundtrack to Timur Bekmambetov’s blockbuster of the same name. The band’s debut album V Gorode N (In City N) went platinum, with over 1 million copies sold.
Vladimir and Sergei Kristovsky decided to help elderly people and people with limited mobility who are at increased risk from the coronavirus. Check out their posting, help the musicians make the world a better place – and do not forget to like and share!
