Liverpool, England ( News of The South) Zimbabwe’s Zimgems take on Jamaica in what promises to be an action packed game at the M&S Arena as the Vitality Netball Worldcup nears an end.

Zimgems have played their games by putting up a fight like hungry lions as they continue to orive a point that they “are tough” as described by team captain Perpetua Siyachitema.





Zimbabwe have strength in their goal shooters Joyce Takaidza, Pauline Jani, Ursula Ndlovu and Sharon Bwanali. In defence Zimbabwe will have to up their hame and play a very fast game to offset the tall Jamaicans. Shot low passes will work towards Zimbabwe’s advantage as well as one on one defence.

Jamaica, the Sunshine Girls as they are known have the experience as they have taken part in each Worldcup since it’s inception in 1963. Their strength lies in Jhaniele Fowler- Reid, Shamera Sterling and Romelda Aiken.

Jamaica’s 29 year old Fowler -Reid aith an advantage height of 6ft 6 is also team captain is one to watch for her skilful shooting skills.

Jamaica’s current world ranking in netball is 3rd and Zimbabwe can in at number 13.
