Harare,Zimbabwe – (News Of The South)-Early sources of Zimbabwean history either afro centric or eurocentric, neither one of them could dispute Great Zimbabwe as the hub of economic growth in the Southern African region.
Though Great Zimbabwe was stratified into two distinctive classes, this notion will be obliterated as all social classes, races, religions, traditions break all generational differences as they converge at the inaugural Great Zimbabwe International Festival this coming September.
It is a sad reality to think that the “great mighty walls” have only been reduced to a “ruin” status, come to think of it,these “ruins” are what anchor the quo status of Zimbabwe’s country name. However the breeze of sunrise is on its way to the Great Zimbabwe Monuments as it is set to host an inaugural 3 day festival dubbed the Great Zimbabwe International Festival this coming summer.
Hosts of the festival Great Zimbabwe International Festival pvt ltd are happy with preparations so far.
News Of The South indisputably has long been associated with the growth, nurturing, scouting of raw upcoming artist and polishing them to be a fine marketable product. Mahatma Gandhi always reiterated that where there is love there is life and the GZIF is presenting a lifeline to all promising upcoming artists to partner with us as we provide the stage for them to perform to an international, regional and local mega packed crowd.
It is mostly a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness. As News of the South in partnership with Great Zimbabwe International Festival our hearts bleed, our souls shades endless tears at the recurrent snubbing of our future upcoming artists by most event organizers and promoters to perform at the biggest of stages. J F Kennedy postulate “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Thus the GZIF is taking the initiative to call upon all upcoming artists who want to perform during the 3 day festival slated for the 28th to the 30th of September to contact us on the following details; info@greatzimbabwefestival.com ; cymba.kyle333@gmail.com ;call or app +263772503369,Simba K Nkulah.
All upcoming artists to perform at the event shall be provided with free bed and breakfast. We are appealing to all upcoming artists to take part in this initiative as it will be an opportunity for them to get recognition, catapult their careers and possibly get a management contract as music promoters, managers and recording labels will be gracing the 3 day Great Zimbabwe International Festival to scout for talent.
More-so News of the South will also be scouting for its next breakout star to be awarded an 18 month PR, Marketing and Advertising sponsorship. If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into a ditch, do not let your thinking capacity be blinded, never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what is right. Take the right initiative as an upcoming artist and partner with the Great Zimbabwe International Festival and be recognized and be a product of excellence.
It will be a hype of activities in Masvingo come summer time, the GZIF will also feature an array of activities such as the food fare, arts crafts ,music, cultural and Miss Great Zimbabwe peagant, beach party at lake Mutirikwi as well as a street party in Masvingo center.
Great Zimbabwe International Festival would like to pay a courtesy call to all partners for excellence, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA), City of Masvingo, National Museums and Monuments, ZimBuzz, Zimlink, Cassava Remit and News of the South.
