Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South) – Dynamos have been awarded the full three points from their abandoned Premier Soccer League match against Highlanders in a ruling delivered by the PSL Disciplinary Committee.
The match was abandoned due to crowd trouble which erupted at Barboufields stadium leading to the referee blowing to end the match.
The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee found Highlanders FC guilty of causing the abandonment of the match which saw fans pelting the players with missiles.
In a statement the PSL said “the match has been awarded to Dynamos FC on a 3-0 score line”
Further, Highlanders FC were fined a sum of four thousand dollars ($4000), which fine together with the cost of the hearing shall be paid by the 31st of July 2017.
Bosso also have another pending case before the PSL on the same charges after their match with FC Platinum was abandoned in the last minute of injury time.
