Roma succumbed a blow following injuries to their two star-players Gervinho and Francesco Totti in a top of the log Serie A 2-0 victory against Napoli on Friday night.
Roma coach Rudi Garcia says he was worried over the injuries of captain Totti and winger Gervinho despite his team registering eighth successive Series A win with a brace from Miralem Pjanic.

The extent of their injuries hass not yet been ascertained, but Rudi can find comfort in the fact that Roma team have recorded a 100% start, netting 23 years and conceding once.
“I am happy with the win, but it was a pyrrhic victory, as we lost Totti and Gervinho,” he told Sky Sport Italia.”They are muscular problems and will require further tests.
“Nontheless, I am happy because we won and in a tough game like this you need to take every chance on set plays.”
The coach also hinted that the two injuries are a blessing in disguise for other players as they will get the chance to play in the starting line up.
“The injuries are a problem, but on the positive side they will give others an opportunity to play, such as Marco Borriello and Adem Ljajic,” said the Roma gaffer.
Last night’s Roma exploits were only the fourth in the history of Serie A that a team can win their eighth opening matches, after Juventus did so in 1930-31, 1985-86, and 2005-06.
Roma coach attributed the achievements to his players particularly strikers and defenders adding that they remained resolute since the start of the season.
“We are very strong in defence, but for the moment we also know how to score goals-at least two in every game.Daniele (De Rossi) is a wonderful player and his ‘wall’ with Leandro Castan and Medhi Benatia is a solid one I’ve liked since the start.
