Juventus the Serie A giants are ready to ignore the large offers from Europe`s elite clubs for their midfielder Paul Pogba this summer

Pogba has been a revelation since the time he left Manchester United as a free agent in 2012.

“There are clubs that are ready to spend €70m [£50m] to €80m for Pogba,” the Juventus general director, Giuseppe Marotta, told Italian radio station Radio Deejay.

“There are many suitors for Pogba, but we do not want to open negotiations and we want him to stay with us. If we want to increase our level, we need players of great quality and Pogba is one of them.”

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked to Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona also keeping tabs on the talented youngster.

Pogba has scored seven goals and assisted two more in 22 league appearances as Juventus close in on their fourth successive title. The former United player’s contract doesn’t end with the Turin club until 2019.
