Harare,Zimbabwe (News of the South)-It has always been my assertion that one can easily pick any rock or stone as they walk in the park but mostly that rock or stone will not be worth even a dime. For one to pick a precious stone for instance a diamond or gold ,one will have to dig deeper into the ground and its no exception for Eugene Majuru and News of the South who have recently acquired a precious stone Dazzlah under their management.
Dazzlah born Maxwell Chirinhe who has an album to his name entitled ‘Anebenzi ndeane rake’ has recently landed himself a lucrative management contract with News of the South and he will be managed by Eugene Majuru. This contract will see Eugene Majuru and News of the South promoting and marketing Dazzler’s music for the upcoming 3 years.
In an interview with News of the South,Dazzlah was really enthusiastic about this contract and says he is ready to repeatedly do what he knows best and that is to make a habit of excellence and delivering scintillating music,”I would like to give thanks to Eugene Majuru and News of the South. This is serious business, now I am to work very hard and I mean it ,I have nothing much to say,I will show how serious I am through my voice.”
At some point in life greatness always brushes shoulders and collide with other greatness. Some even go as far as saying great minds think alike, but in this scenario greatness met in high school and collided in the same classroom and yes you got it right I am talking about the two giants Dazzlah and the one and only Freeman HKD boss.
“About this music career I started when I was still young. In 2002 that is when people started calling me Dazzler. I used to sing at school on variety shows with Freeman HKD boss,he was my classmate. I am a music writer ,rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist. All I can say is I’m blessed ,I thank God for that.”
This young man is really platinum material and there is always the cliche ,”There is no substitute for quality ” and in truth there’s no substitute for this rare talent Dazzlah possesses. In an interview with News of the South one could clearly see that this young man has undoubtedly a clear cut bright future ahead of his musical escapades.
“My music…to tell the truth as for me,I call it mixed bag because there is ragga [reggae] jazz ,even gospel.I can do even mbira music ,why am I doing this?I am trying to make everyone happy. Those who like jazz they will listen and other for ragga [reggae] will also enjoy.”
An array of artists or most artists actually takes drugs such as marijuana, cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy to provide adrenaline during their live performances. However Dazzlah belongs on the rare crop of artists who does not take any performance enhancement drugs during his shows.
“I did lot of shows here in Capetown and people they like, appreciate my music and my performances. So in this music business I have no doubt, I do my performances sober sense ,no taking any alcohol.”
Dazzlah has an upbeat sound that keeps on ringing and banging in your head and you will have to be a party spoiler if you can not get up and dance or even nod your head when the sound and rhythm of his music starts to quench your soul .Music fans brace yourself for Dazzler ,take off your hats ,caps and bow down to your king and say it after me ,’Oh hail King Dazzlah ,MaDkondo Empire ,you have sinked the black ball your highness. “
Napoleon Hill once reiterated that whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve and Dazzlah had this to say to his newly found family and fans,”News of the South please expect big things from Dazzler ,I promise ,may God bless you guys.”
