Is a political activist who is passionate about media and disability issues. He is also campaigning for the St Mary’s constituency council seat in ward (1) one in the 2018 elections as an independent candidate.
He is a human rights defender passionate about disability (inclusion of people with disabilities in decision makings at all levels) and media rights (freedom of expression and access to information).
Nyasha Nhau is a youngman aged 31, single and has been enrolled for 2018 to start a French Degree program.
Nyasha Nhau organized demonstrations and petitions to Government of Zimbabwe on media freedoms and disability rights.
He in his personal capacity organized a successful demonstration and petitioned former Minister of Media and Broadcasting Professor Jonathan Moyo, Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) and Parliament of Zimbabwe in 2013, to license community media (community radios and newspapers). In 2017 under the banner of (Zimbabwe People and Parents of Children with Disabilities (ZPPCD) organized and petitioned former President of Zimbabwe Cde Robert Gabriel Mugabe, former Minister of Justice Legal Affairs (now President) Cde Emerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, former Minister of Labour and Social Welfare (where disability constituency fall under) Hon Prisca Mupfumira and Parliament of Zimbabwe, on the issue of disability rights.

He is one of the Founders and Secretary General of Zimbabwe People and Parents of Children with Disabilities (ZPPCD), is the former coordinator (St Mary’s constituency Chitungwiza) of Zimbabwe People First (ZimPf) now National People’s Party (NPP) led by Dr JTR Mujuru and secretary for disability youth Harare Province (since it’s formation until december 2017), National Commander for Disability (NCD) at a youth movement founded and led by Norton Legislator Hon Temba Peter Mliswa’s Youth Advocacy for Reforms and Democracy (YARD), disability technical advisor of Hon TP Mliswa during his Norton constituency bi-election campaign in 2016, former Zimbabwe Youth Forum Chitungwiza District spokesperson (2013-2016), citizen journalist and former Chitungwiza structures coordinator of Community Radio Harare (CORAH 2012 to present), founder and former writer at Chitungwiza News Network (CNN) a community newsletter powered by Media lnstitute of Southern Africa (MISA-Zimbabwe chapter 2006-2013), he is an entrepreneur PROWEB (class of 2016) and a STAR Leadership brand (Cohort 3 of 2017). Secretary for welfare at Revolutionary Freedom Fighters (RFF) steering committee.
I am resigning from some not all the organizations where am holding posts to ease pressure so that l put all my effort in my ward for me to reach my 2018 goal which is to ensure that my constituency is represented at local government level. DISABILITY DOES NOT MEAN INABILITY.

Nyasha Nhau is the Marketing and Publicity Officer at Wheelchair Basketball Association of Zimbabwe (WBAZ), is a technical advisor on disability issues/activities. He is also a movie script consultant, writer and director as well as a visual and audio advert shark. He is known Mr Soulmate for his television series titled SOULMATE (a sad love and crime drama with 6 seasons – still on hold) which is soon to be an english novel.
He once partnered to market and advertise the following organizations through Soulmate Production, Royal Oil Service Stations, Moonlight Provident Associates t/a Moonlight Funeral Services, Globe Tech Motors, Dzimbahwe Hospitality Group, Citimed Group of Hospitals and The Keg Lounge.
