The inaugural Miss Heritage World will take place in Harare from the 29th of November to the 7th of December despite efforts by Miss World pageant C.E.O Julia Morley’s efforts to stop Miss Heritage World organizers from using the word world in the upcoming event.
Julia Morley`s petition to stop Zimbabwean Tare Munzara chairperson of the Miss Heritage World pageant from using the word World in the High Court of Zimbabwe was dismissed when Justice Chigumba held and Stated that Miss World Pageant has no legal basis to file an application since it is a foreign entity that did not adhere to the rules of the courts of paying for securities costs to the court, as to do proper legal proceedings.

Judgement: Justice Chigumba held and stated that Miss World Pageant has no legal basis to file an application since it is a foreign entity that did not adhere to the rules of the courts of paying for securities costs to the court, as to do proper legal proceedings. So the High Court Judge Held that the matter cannot be heard by the court, illegality.

The brains behind the Miss Heritage World pageant, Tare Munzara said “Miss World wants to monopolize on the Word World, which is a dictionary descriptive word.”
Miss World pageant organizers have been accused of trying to thwart competition as more and more cases cheating and rigging dog the premier world pageant over the years.
Zimbabwe will host beauty queens from nearly a hundred countries come November 29 when they come to compete for the Miss Heritage World title in Harare.
The Southern African country successfully co-hosted the 2013 UNWTO and proved that it is more than ready to take on international events on its soils.
