The Manchester United veteran striker is fast recovering from a prolonged knee ligament injury he suffered earlier this year against Anderlecht.
Zlatan says he is ready to come back for Manchester United and is actually determined to win the league with the reds and bring back the glory days for Manchester United, declaring:” i have come back to finish what i started.”
The swiss is tipped for a December comeback with his team five points behind log leaders Manchester City ahead of Saturday’s visit of Tottenham.
“Everthing i built up in the first season-obviously we won the three trophies, the ending for me not the ending i wanted, or nobody wanted, especially after how the season went.
“The target is the league title. That is my target to finish.
“Everything i started in the first season, we will finish in the second one.”
Following convincing Jose Mourinho and United bosses, Ibrahimovic has returned on a one year deal therefore, he has only the title in his mentality.
Former Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain superstar netted 28 times in all competition in 2016-17 season, but the problem he sustained in the Europa against Anderlecht in April kept him out of the final.
“In that moment when it happened, it was easier for me to say that i would come back because then i had a challenge,” said the towering striker.
“The challenge was that i never had a major injury, and all these people talking that it’s over he’s too old, all these doubts that i had in my whole career.
“When that happens, it triggers me beacause it gives me energy and an objective.I’m challenging what i able to do how far i can take my body.
“In the last years, when you are thinking how many more years you are going to play, that is where you are hesitating. But the injury made it easy for me.I had one target, and that is to come back and play the game.
